A Word From Jet Longboards: Jet longboards are built in the USA using hard rock Maple, precision molds and teh finest adhesives available. The various models shown will cover the needs of the most demanding downhill racers and performance freeriders. For 2011 many of the decks implement drop-through designs which lowers the center of gravity. They also feature cutouts that eliminate "wheel bite" for maximum lean while carving. Currently all boards are sold "deck only" without griptape. For best results, combine them with Abec 11 or Orangatang wheels, Bones Reds bearings and your favorite longboard truck (i.e., Randal, Navigator, Bear). Jet is committed to performance and progression and keeping longboarding as it should be - Raw. Innovative, Aggressive, Powerful and Fun! We're putting together Grom and Am programs such as the JET Squadron to help drive DH to younger generations that will in turn take it to new levels. Just as in Street Skating, Downhill & Freeriding have to be affordable so that all age groups can get involved. We believe those China-cheap or corporate package setups are Not the solution. Custom decks are definitely the way to go because you'll get better components and quality without spending more money long term. The Jet longboard brand is also a tribute to our friend Kevin Shore who inspires us all. Every deck has a small "KS" somewhere on it. Have you found it? The Doppler 39.5 is a twin outline. It's for progressive longboard tricks, soulful freerides and features a little kick in the nose and tail. The Crossfire 41.0 is also a twin concave shape and it's a killer all-round board for aggressive freeriding, technical slides and fearless DH! It's inspiration comes from a two-headed snake which can attack from either direction. The Portal41.5 and DSTRYR 42.5 are "balls out" directional downhill racing decks.
